Marborg Industries Presents the 2009 California Lemon Festival in Goleta; PaceSetter Campaign Successful
The Goleta Valley Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the 2009 California Lemon Festival Presenting Sponsor is Marborg Industries. Marborg was one of the first PaceSetter sponsors to show their support for this annual festival, which attracts 35,000 people to the area. PaceSetter sponsors are those companies who have committed their early support. This year’s festival will be held on October 17th & 18th at Girsh Park.
Goleta Valley Chamber of Commerce President & CEO Kristen Amyx said, “It’s exciting to see that even during difficult times, local companies are still investing in the important, family-oriented, heritage events in our community. During a financially difficult year, it is even more important that we strengthen our local connections, celebrate together, and keep traditions alive.
Marborg Industries is the presenting sponsor for the 2009 Lemon Festival. Venoco is the Co-Sponsor and Cox is the Media Co-Sponsor. This year’s Sunshine Sponsors include Santa Ynez Band of Chumash Indians with the Media Sponsor SBParent.com. Sponsors at the Growers level include Allied Waste, Goleta Water District, and Haagen Printing. This year’s Seedlings Sponsors are Albertson’s, ATK Space Systems, Camino Real Marketplace, Citrix Online, FLIR Commercial Vision Systems, Montecito Bank & Trust, Noozhawk.com, Raytheon, Santa Barbara Signs and Synergy Computing.
New to this year’s festival is the Green Business Trade Show with Hayward Lumber as the main sponsor. Booth Sponsors include the Goleta Sanitary District, Goleta Water District and Ventura Limoncello Company.
